I have had many cats, dogs, still do.! Siamese, Burmese, Bengal, domestic. Never in my life have I enjoyed loved an an animal like my Abby, (Savvy)
absolutely adored her and am still mourning losing her at 5 yo, she was everything to me. Why? no Vet could find what was wrong, blood tests showed nothing xrays nothing, but she just wasted away in her hindquarters, no longer even to stand, never in my life have i been so deverstated at a loss, just miss her forever! the most spectacular of all.

We bought our little cat at a show in Bradenton, Florida at the Civic Center back in September 1995. She was suppose to be a pet for my daughters. They are all grown up now and that little cat will be 17 years old in May this next year. How long do these cats usually live?

Unfortunately my Aby passed away on Friday 23 July. She was 2 weeks short of being 20 years old (see my post below of 2 August 2009. She was the most lovely and gentle cat I have ever had. If anyone know Evelyn Fitzgerald, her breeder, [please let her know as I have lost contact.

i have a beautiful male aby. had him for just shy of 7 years. he is very active and healthy. rudy in color. neutered . never used to breed. i love him but i do need to find a home for him with people who love cats and understand the aby personality. i am going to be leaving the country soon and i can't take him with me . it would be great to find someone who is really serious about wanting to love and have an aby of their own. leah@spikeddb.com

My Aby was the light of my life. He just passed away at 17-1/2 years old and I miss him terribly. He died of gastrointestinal disease, of all things, and I allowed my vet to do an autopsy so that we can understand his death better and perhaps help other vets and owners understand gastrointestinal disease in cats. I am in Washington, D.C. and would like to find a kind, reputable breeder in the area.

I used to be a member and Ariane's picture was published in a 1990/91 edition of the magazine (bouncing to swat a table tennis ball). She's still alive and doing fairly well although she has a thyroid problem, her kidney problem having been stabilised. She still goes chasing squirrels! Her birthday is 4th August and she was born in 1990! Full name: Ahuish Ariane Kazu - breed 23a - Sorrel. Breeder: Mrs Evelyn Fitzgerald. Keep up the good website.
